The Power of One, a documentary by director Alex Valdez and producer Pablo De la Fuente, will be featured in a two-day UC Davis campus event celebrating the power of individual and community action in the face of global environmental challenges.
Thanks to generous donations, dedicated volunteers, and passionate student leaders, we have made remarkable strides in planting new trees, enhancing campus landscapes, and creating opportunities for hands-on learning.
This spring the Friends of the UC Davis Arboretum and Public Garden are offering fruit trees at their seasonal plant sale fundraiser. Inventory was chosen with Central Valley home gardeners in mind, meaning they’re productive, well-suited to our climate, and ready to flourish in your backyard!
Come and join our Learning by Leading™ Urban Tree Stewardship team and help plant trees to keep growing our campus canopy! Volunteers are encouraged to wear sturdy shoes, a hat and clothes that they don't mind getting dirty. Don't forget to bring a water bottle!
