The Power of One: Documentary Screening and Filmmaker Discussion

This screening kicks off a two-day campus event exploring environmental restoration and the power of individual and community action. The Power of One, an upcoming documentary by Director Alex Valdez and Producer Pablo De la Fuente, follows a team of filmmakers to a remote ecological sanctuary in Colombia, where a conservationist’s effort to plant 10,000 trees has helped restore an endangered ecosystem. The documentary runs approximately 1 hour and 23 minutes and will be followed by a live Q&A and discussion with the filmmakers.

(Day two features a community tree planting on campus. Space is limited; separate registration required.)
